Clear prices, clear next steps

When you are already dealing with a health problem that is getting in the way of everyday life, the last thing you need is uncertainty about cost.

We keep pricing clear and upfront, so you can understand your options and make a confident decision about your care.

Self-pay

If you are paying for your own treatment, this page gives you a clear guide to the most common fees and how surgical pricing works.

We believe self-pay patients should understand the likely cost before moving forward, without confusion or hidden surprises.

Consultation fees

Your first step is a consultation with a specialist in peripheral nerve conditions. We offer in-person appointments in London, Birmingham and Worcester, as well as virtual appointments if you are based internationally or cannot attend in person.

New patient consultation

Birmingham – The Harborne Hospital: £300
Worcester – Spire South Bank Hospital: £300
London – Cromwell Hospital: £350
Virtual appointment: £250

Follow-up consultation

Birmingham – The Harborne Hospital: £200
Worcester – Spire South Bank Hospital: £200
London – Cromwell Hospital: £230
Virtual follow-up: £200

Surgery fees

The cost of surgery depends on the treatment you need and where your procedure takes place.

Your surgical fee may include:

  • surgeon’s fee
  • anaesthetist’s fee
  • hospital fee
  • physiotherapy, if dedicated sessions are required

Hospital charges can vary more than many patients expect. Pricing may differ depending on the hospital, whether your treatment takes place in London or outside London, and whether you go home the same day or need to stay overnight as an inpatient.

Anaesthetist fees also vary slightly depending on the type of anaesthesia required.

Because of that, the exact price for surgery is confirmed once your treatment plan is clear.

What affects the final price?

The final cost of treatment can vary based on:

  • the procedure you need
  • the hospital where your treatment takes place
  • whether your treatment is a day case or requires an inpatient stay
  • the type of anaesthesia used
  • whether you need dedicated physiotherapy sessions afterwards

We will explain this clearly before you go ahead, so you know what to expect.
